REPORTING CHILD ABUSE

If you or someone you know suspects that a child is being abused, it is your responsibility to report it to the appropriate authorities.  It only takes one person to make a difference in the life of a child.

In Illinois, please call:

  • 911 
  • and/or
  • the DCFS Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-25-ABUSE (22873)

Outside of the State of Illinois, please call:

  • 1-800-422-4453
